Podpiwek - brew your own traditional Polish drink, brewing kit

Description

You are buying 4 packets of Podpiwek (100g each) + 1 packet* (7g) of instant dry yeast recommended for porters/kvass/podpiwek.
Recipe:
Dissolve 1 packet of Podpiwek in 10 liters of boiling water. Boil for 10 mins.
Sieve the liquid through a piece of cloth or paper filter.
Add 500 grams of sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cool down the brew to about 40 C / 104 F.
Mix 5 grams of fresh or 1 tablespoon of dry yeast in 1/2 glass of this liquid.
Then add this mixture to the rest of the liquid.
Fill up the bottles with the screw cap and put away for 3-4 days.
The first two days should be in a warm and the rest in cooler place.
Consume chilled.
*1 packet of yeast will be enough to brew 30-35 liters of podpiwek
