light bodied, effervescent ale with warm malty flavors and a slight orange hue from the steeping grains. Golden Candi Syrup lends a faint caramel sweetness and a hint of fresh plums. The included Belgian style yeast strain completes this farmhouse style ale by contributing a spicy and peppery background.

n the Olden days Saison beers were a group of refreshing summer ales made by farmers intended to be served to workers on the farm who were entitled to up to five litres each workday.  Many were seasonal workers or "les saisonniers".  Although now most commercial examples range from 5 to 8% abv, originally Saisons were meant to be refreshing and it is thought they had alcohol levels ranging from 3 to 3.5%.

aison is French for "Season" and this is the essential farmhouse ale.  Just as it was brewed centuries ago, BSG has produced this easy to make kit that will have you brewing up a storm in no time!  A leggy golden blonde with spicy wheat malt and classic hop aroma and subtle hop bitterness.  Showcases the wonderful softness of wheat but doesn't get overshadowed by clove and yeast notes like its German cousin.  The yeast selected is DANSTAR BELLE SAISON.
